"I love Precision Race. We have put on the Race of Grace for 7 years now. Bruce is our 3rd race director. He is on top of things. Organized, energetic, knowledgeable. He also has great connections on t-shirts, printing, etc., and gave good advice on how to handle various aspects of the race. Since we had done the race many times and were experienced in what we were doing, we didn’t have to rely on him for every single detail. Yet, he brought a different way of thinking about what we were doing and we made a few improvements. We did not experience any mistakes in data entry or race results. In past years we had experienced several of these each year. What we appreciate and VALUE is a race director who is genuinely a nice person and knows what he’s doing. Our past directors got stressed and cranky on what should otherwise be a happy and fun day. They stressed out our volunteers and just did not seem to enjoy the day. I understand what it must be like trying to get a race up and running with dozens of people pulling on you. Bruce did not lose his cool ever and was always pleasant and on top of things. Finally, for me as the race chair, Bruce was responsive. Whenever I had a question, if he didn’t answer his phone, he got back to me in a timely manner. Emails were always promptly returned."
